Summer Internship – Tokyo

Location: Minato-Ku, Tokyo, Japan

FXSpotStream seeks a summer intern for its Tokyo office. Applicants must be energetic, industrious, willing to learn, and interested in the foreign exchange market. Requirements: must be completing his or her penultimate year at a well-regarded university; must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer; must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. The summer intern will gain interesting and valuable experience in the areas of sales, relationship management, client support and services and potentially other areas as well.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and assist in the day to day operations of the Service and participate in internal and external calls/meetings
  • Responsibilities may also include conducting data research projects and presenting findings to maximize efficiency for clients and LPs, and working with CRM software to maximize data sharing throughout company
  • The intern may gain experience across the Company’s functions, including Support, Relationship Management, Product, and back office functions

Qualifications

Our internship program is aimed at students, close to completing their university education. A strong interest in financial markets and electronic trading is a plus, as well as any FX knowledge or experience. All training for specific software will be provided, though proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Client Services and Support Specialist – Tokyo

Location: TOKYO, JAPAN

FXSpotStream LLC (FSS) is seeking a Client Service and Support Specialist to join its team in Tokyo, Japan. The individual will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of the foreign exchange market is preferred but not essential, and full training on our price streaming Service will be provided.

Responsibilities

The following are some of the responsibilities for the position. Other duties commensurate with the position may be assigned:

  • Manage and/or monitor the functions of an electronic service
  • Act as first point of contact in a customer service capacity for the service
  • Provide technical and product support for the solution
  • Perform market control, operations, and support functions of the service
  • Interface with clients, liquidity providers and vendors in support capacity
  • Troubleshoot incidents and issues from onset until conclusion
  • Assist with the initial and ongoing documentation of market control, support and other processes and procedures

Qualifications

The individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Proficient in with MS Office and Google docs
  • Banking or financial markets experience (preferred)
  • Project and vendor management skills
  • Ability to work different shifts
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible and ability to lead internally and externally
  • Fluency in Chinese or Korean is a plus, but not required
  • Education Minimum BA or BS degree

Financial Accountant

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, USA

FXSpotStream LLC (FSS) seeks a Financial Accountant for Liquidity Match LLC and its subsidiaries to assist with the responsibilities outlined below and possessing the specified qualifications. The individual will report to the Controller.

Responsibilities

The individual will have responsibility to provide support in respect of the following matters and functions:

  • Record/maintain accounting entries/records in Quickbooks in accordance with US GAAP and the Company’s existing accounting policies
  • Perform consolidation of various legal entities and record intercompany transactions as appropriate
  • Working closely with Controller, on all company expenditures, ensuring expenses are appropriate and in line with company policies/objectives
  • Ensure expenses are paid in a timely manner
  • Maintain and report on monthly accruals posted to the ledger
  • Maintain and report on Software development/Capex amortization
  • Prepare and issue invoices to members/clients on a monthly /quarterly basis, as required
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Report all anomalies
  • Assist in the preparation and timely issuance of financial reporting
  • Work jointly with the Controller/CFO on development of annual budget
  • Maintain records in orderly fashion
  • Maintain / Develop procedures document accordingly
  • Protect operations by keeping information confidential and secure

Qualifications

The individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 1-3 years of experience
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Client Service and Support Specialist

Location: LONDON, UK

FXSpotStream® seeks a Client Service and Support Specialist to assume the responsibilities outlined below and possessing the specified qualifications. The Representative will drive service excellence by responding to customer’s needs and by continuously looking for opportunities to improve our service and support. This person will work closely with management and internal technical personnel to resolve customer issues and to ensure we are meeting the needs of the market and its customers. The individual will report to the Regional Head of Client Services and Support.

Responsibilities

The individual will have responsibility to provide support in respect of the following matters and functions:

  • Ability to manage and/or monitor the functions of an electronic service
  • First point of contact in a customer service capacity for the service
  • Technical and product support for the solution
  • Market control, operations and support functions of the service
  • Interface with participants and vendors in support capacity
  • Troubleshoot incidents and issues from onset until conclusion
  • Assist with the initial and ongoing documentation of market control, support and other processes and procedures

Liquidity Manager

Location: JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY, USA

FXSpotStream LLC (FSS) seeks a Liquidity Manager for the New Jersey team to assume the responsibilities outlined below and possessing the specified qualifications. The individual will work closely with our London and Tokyo office and report to the Head of Liquidity Management or such other individual designated by the CEO.

Responsibilities

The individual will have responsibility for, manage or provide support in respect of the following matters and functions:

  • Building and growing relationships with Liquidity Providers (LPs) and clients
  • Leveraging data to grow existing bilateral connections between clients and LPs across all products on the Service (Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, Precious Metal)
  • Evaluate key performance metrics of clients and LPs, including Average Daily Volume, Currency Pair Coverage, LP vs Client distribution and other related measures
  • Daily engagement with clients and LPs for both optimizing existing trading configuration and troubleshooting issues
  • Close collaboration with FSS Sales and Relationship Management teams to assist with liquidity optimization analysis and discussions
  • Building, analyzing and distributing value add reporting and analytics to assist the Sales and Relationship Management teams
  • Educating other FSS team members on Liquidity Management related topics such as Order Types, Trading Profiles, Stream Configuration and Data Analytics

Qualifications

The individual should possess the following qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Excel and preferably some Python/R/SQL experience
  • FX product knowledge
  • Problem solving-ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client investigations
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
